Years ago when Amber and I were dreaming about the first Convergence mission trip overseas, we had no idea the amazing experience that was before us nor the people who would capture our hearts. We had no idea that we would be on the ground when the greatest earthquake in 200 years would it. We had no idea of the incredible hospitality in store from Bruce and Deb as well as their wider community. We had no idea that God would give us the incredible privilege of playing a catalytic role in the hopes and dreams of a community.
If you want to partner in great development work that takes serious our call to join God in his passion mission of restoration spiritually, physical and communally – I hope you’ll join me as we continue our Partnership in Hope. Opportunities to partner:
- Pray for the team – 12 of us will head down March 18-28.
- Pray for God’s work of restoration in Northwest Haiti – specifically around education, farming, water and the local church as they proclaim the hope of Jesus Christ.
- Partner financially. Help support a team member with trip costs that average $1400 or give directly toward finishing up the school building. Needs include: $6000 to finish the roof, $1800 for plaster, $1400 to paint inside and out, $800 for doors. Give online- Fund:Convergence/Subfund:Partners in Hope or contact me to give by check.
Expectantly Hopeful:
Jon Epps
