Community Groups

Hello and welcome! We are so glad that you are interested in  Convergence Community Groups.

What is a community group you ask? Well here at Convergence we believe that  Community Groups are:

  1. A place to grow: Community Groups are a place to deepen our relationships with Christ, to encourage and be encouraged in our faith, to develop a life of prayer, to care for others and to be cared for, to determine and develop our spiritual gifts.  In a word: discipleship. In action: relevant studies, community service, prayer, and discernment.
  2. A place to belong: God declares that it is not good to be alone.  Everyone needs to have “their people.”  These communities serve help you find a place to belong, build a home, and develop an urban family.
  3. A place to invite others to: We know who God is.  We have experienced His love, mercy, healing and faithfulness.  Therefore, because of the love we have experienced, we can’t help but extend that love to the people of Seattle by taking risks to introduce them to Christ.  These groups provide a place where anyone can take an active role in God’s mission in Seattle.  They are a tangible place to invite others to “come and see.

Throughout the year we will offer opportunities to join in and begin new groups. More information will be posted as the groups become available.
